Letter from the President

Saving SRL was established in 1964. 

The original idea was to create a Freight Forwarding company fully dedicated to Project Freight Forwarding, which was not such a common thing at the time in Italy.
The results were extremely successful, and within the next few years Saving SRL started to become a specialist in this field. Gradually we achieved and gained the confidence of many major international engineering companies in Italy, Europe and the United States.

Few years later we started to create separate divisions for activities of Project Freight Forwarding, Shipping and General Freight Forwarding (Saving Shipping & Forwarding, Saving Sped and Saving Air). Currently all general freight forwarding activities (air,  ocean, land) are coordinated by SAVING SPED AIR, which is located in Opera, Milan. Project Freight Forwarding activities are instead handled by Saving Shipping & Forwarding, located in Fino Mornasco, Como.

The management and the operation departments of both companies work closely with each other in order to create a synergetic effort to provide our Customers and Agents the best possible range of services. Our offices and warehouses are located in Opera, in the southern industrial area of Milan. All facilities are very well connected to all main highways, and are very close to both Linate and Malpensa airports.

It was not too easy to find the right balance between our two “souls”, but eventually we achieved a very big success.

We want you to count on SAVING GROUP as your ideal business partner: acting as your agent, we can promote your organization with our sales support or simply carry out your instructions. As your confident partner Saving can assist you in all aspects of major project worldwide. We established special relationships and achieved very well known reputation with many Italian manufacturing and engineering companies: it has been like this since our very first day of business, and it shall always be!

Saving’s motto “WE ARE RISING” does not simply endorse our philosophy, it also conveys our constant and steady commitment to continue to rise and relentlessly seek ways to improve our quality in operations, communications and services.
